As a child w/ military father and mother who graduated Notre Dame Academy, I learned what they used to call the “Golden Rules,” and grew up in Scouts and academy life where: Duty, Honor, Country and we don’t Lie, Cheat or Steal, was our daily shibboleths, Example: Resigned my Regular Army Commission (see above) when my Squadron Commander asked me to cover up a Felony Investigation, he destroyed my Army (dream) career; but I did the right thing, left the Army, switched to Air Force and retired a Full Colonel; I want someone who has a good sense of humor and can laugh at herself. I love sarcasm (to a point); don’t like practical jokers; I use self-deprecating humor often, so as to minimize anyone thinking “I’m too full of myself,” (haha) I love stand-up comedy (don’t like it when it gets to “raunchy,”) • I want someone who is willing to go that extra mile for the one she loves and vise a versa. his I not only do, but do it “in spades!” I was someone who is willing to travel anywhere with that one special person. I have lived in all over the world! Thought of living on a yacht – that I would purchase to retire on – but also want a cabin in mountains (Northeast – love New England foliage and snow) Love warm weather and water – ocean and lakes, so want cabin in South (mountains or beach house) I plan and will reach all of these goals. My favorite saying is: “Obstacles are what you see when you take your eyes off the goal.” As a young military retiree, I can fly anywhere in the world on military aircraft as what we call a “Space A” person (Space Available, just like the airlines do), except its not only for me, but for me and my family members, it is free – oh, yea, you do have to pay $10 for your lunch, (haha)(smile) I say, most of all I want with this special other someone to have a “win-win” situation, I wouldn’t accept anything less. I want someone Adventurous/Wild/Spontaneous&n bsp; See above – military career and all other things associated with this idea, I love sailing Me and my crew won Block Island, New York Race Week (11 races came in 1st, including the mid-week “around-the-island-race,” ; I love scuba diving I love motor boats and jet skis, I am artistic, I do water colors – some are pretty good if I might bragg love to make collages (romantic ones for “that special-person,” love of boating, sailing, and I have done rafting and love it as well Forgot to put that there is a yacht business in Annapolis that wants me to come work part time for them (I/we’d be around the yachts all the weekends; I’d make a great deal of extra money and would allow me to purchase the yacht of “my/your” (haha) choice when the time is right – see my plan about living on a yacht for a while). too, love to dance – not the best in the world, in my opinion, but been told by many a woman “I do just fine,” haha I work out everyday, “religiously,” – high speed walk (don’t run much due to surgery I had – but used to be a long-distance runner, love the movie CHARIOTS OF FIRE!) I love to swim, have done some rock climbing, learned to repel in Army Officer training and paratroopers) I love tennis, haven’t played much in last years, love racquet ball Not only love working out, but APPRECIATE IT, after some years of not being able to due to “combat-related-injury,” now fixed, so now back to my “ole self,” of working out each and every day. I could not be with a partner/mate who didn’t want to always look their best, first for themselves, and then for me. Love snow skiing, go to cabin in West Virginia every year to do so; and love New England as well. Haven’t skied out in West yet, but heard “it’s the best,” out there I love the game of golf. My son Bobby is on his High School team, and I love to watch it and now with corrective surgery I spoke about earlier, I can now play the game again (yea!) I also want someone Easygoing/Flexible/Open-Minded , High Energy, Humorous/Witty I can be easygoing, but usually pretty active, my military “call-sign,” like Maverick and Goose in TOP GUN, is for me, Lightning (high energy) With regard to Flexibility, one of our favorite family sayings as “military brats,” – we grew up in the military as well as served in it (my Father and Mother are both buried in Arlington National Cemetery as are my grandparents,)…my parents had five children, 4 Colonels and a corporal. I also am looking for someone who is sometimes a Low Maintenance person – relaxed, can enjoy “down-time,” and who is also Sensitive/Nurturing/Loving, Romantic, Sophisticated/Worldly, Spiritual and stubborn about those things she Love sex, but not just as sex, love intimacy…willing to please my partner all the way up to S & M! Some, no, all that truly know me, my family and those I’ve been involved with in my past would say” Bob’s ‘romantic-to-a-fault!’ ” I would love to prove it to someone special I am seeking Sensitive/Nurturing/Loving, Romantic, Sophisticated/Worldly, and Spiritual. You’ve yet to meet a guy/man/gentleman as sensitive as me (again, “almost-to-a-fault), if you’re familiar with the Myers-Briggs personality profiles, I am an ENFP. I am very nurturing – especially to my mate, but I use the way I’ve raised my two sons to prove this aspect of me – they are two of the finest boys you’d ever want to meet (tall, handsome, MANNERS, spiritual, have great life goals – Bobby to be military officer like his father, an exceptional Cadet and great member of the golf team; Eric to attend University of Notre Dame and be their quarterback – he is High School QB now and was just recruited by one of the best schools in the nation). Loving is what I am about – my God, my Nation, my Family – not always in that order due to the requisites of life – but they are an intrinsic-hardened portion of WHO I AM – also put me down for Duty, Honor, Country. When attending the academy we lived by the Honor Code – no one cheats, lies or steals, or tolerates those that do. My favorite author is Leon Uris Have read EXODUS, his first big hit, at least 4-5 times and have gotten others read it as well o And love all of his other works I like Big Band/Swing, Blues, Classic Rock n' Roll, Classical, Jazz, Modern Rock n' Roll, (no "Acid Rock,") Soul/R&B I can’t wait for you to hear and see my Big Band tape, should I be lucky enough to meet you someday – may sound corny, but you should see them do the swing dances of WWII – they are having more fun than anyone I’ve seen! Love Beatles, CCR, America, Doobie and Allman Brothers, Marshal Tucker, Dave Grusin, David Benoit, Diana Krall, Dan Fogelburg, Beach Boys, C & W!, etc. I love Art Galleries, Love art galleries, love to paint Love Bars/In Nightclubs – high end, friendly or beach type (been to and love Key West’s Margaretville!, Love Beach, bookstores, comedy clubs, concerts, libraries, Live Theater, Movies, Museums, Parks, Restaurants Food: I like Continental, Italian, Mediterranean, Mexican, fast food (but not too much – like to keep my military figure!
