I have been divorced now for some four years, I dated for a while after that, but have been single now for two years. I have enjoyed the time off, so to speak. It has allowed me to put my life in perspective, see where I could have been different, where I went wrong and try and learn to listen, without offering advice or solution. I am not saying I am perfect, I am far from it. I would like to think I am reliable and conscientious, willing to go that extra mile, because it makes a difference. I love romance, think I am quite old fashioned sometimes, flowers, dinner, champagne picnics, the whole sherbang! In my spare time, I like to spend it in the company of friends and family, thats if I have no other pressing matters like cleaning or ironing! Going to the pub socialising is probably top of the list for things to do, being single and all, there isn't much else. Though I have promised myself more time away, a fair portion of my family live in Spain, so bobbing off there for a couple of days is no great shakes. Its a good excuse for a bit of sun and a couple of beers though! I think it would be nice now to have someone to share it with though, someone to have at my side, to walk the sometimes steep and rocky road of life with, hand in hand, supporting each other when the incline seems insurmountable.
